Travel between Mexicali and Anaheim is required; English and Spanish proficiency is essential for daily interaction with the team and external partners.

Formación

• Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel regularly between Mexicali and Anaheim; visa or passport
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, or plant finance
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, BOMs, routings, work centers, production orders, overhead allocation, labor rates, and machine rates
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards

New Maquiladora in Mexicali:

This Finance position is directly involved in cost accounting and collaborates with plant management to ensure reliable product costing, while supporting the accounting close process, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.

A solid background in general accounting is required to provide support to the accounting team.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Cost accounting and standard costing;
2. Analysis of manufacturing variances and support for Operations
3. Inventory accounting, valuation, and control;
4. Accounting close, financial reporting, and planning;
5. Capital investments and business analysis;
6. Plant start-ups, production transfers,
7. Odoo implementation;
8. Internal controls, compliance, and audits;

and the coordination of activities and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written),
• Ability to travel regularly between Mexicali and Anaheim. VISA, PASSPORT
• Proven experience in standard costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, cost of goods sold (COGS), budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, bills of materials, routings, work centers, production orders, overhead allocation, labor rates, and machine rates.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, maquiladoras cost accounting, inventory accounting, or plant finance, including direct experience with general accounting and month-end closing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a solid foundation in accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or a comparable manufacturing ERP.
