Una importante empresa de manufactura busca un Analista Financiero en Tijuana que será responsable de analizar datos financieros y preparar informes que apoyen la toma de decisiones estratégicas. Se requiere experiencia sólida en contabilidad de costos y un título en contabilidad o finanzas. El candidato ideal debe tener habilidades analíticas excepcionales y familiaridad con Oracle ERP. La posición incluye la preparación de informes financieros y el apoyo a los procesos de cierre mensual y anual.

Formación

  • Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en una empresa de manufactura.
  • Al menos 3 años de experiencia sólida en contabilidad de costos.

Responsabilidades

  • Analizar datos financieros y preparar informes para la toma de decisiones.
  • Monitorear tendencias financieras y colaborar con otros para garantizar pronósticos precisos.
  • Desarrollar previsiones y análisis de variaciones para evaluar el rendimiento financiero.

Descripción del empleo

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

The Financial Analyst will also monitor financial trends, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with others to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.

  • Analyze the average unit cost calculated by the system to validate the valuation of inventory costs.
  • Determine the unit costs of a new CPO.
  • Prepare P&L statements by area and business line to review gross margins.
  • Verify receipt of materials and their variations (cost and quality) to ensure the reliability of information entered into the system and the calculation of material costs.
  • Develop, review, and analyze reports such as inventory, production orders, load, variations, and action plans; prepare weekly scrap reports and control CAPEX.

Establish Standard Costs and Collect Operational Data: Determine operational costs by setting standard costs and gathering data to facilitate budgeting and decision-making.

Guide Cost Analysis Process: Develop and enforce policies and procedures for cost analysis to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Prepare Reports and Projections: Create reports based on financial analyses, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Identify Financial Status: Compare actual results with plans and forecasts to evaluate financial health and performance.

Conduct Financial Forecasting: Develop forecasts, business plans, and conduct variance analysis to track performance.

Assist in Closing Processes: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure compliance with GAAP.

Prepare Financial Analyses: Conduct detailed analyses on financial and cost-saving measures.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company.
  • At least 3 years of solid cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with cost systems and excellent analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP.
  • Current valid US Visa.
