Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Querétaro is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to drive cost control and inventory valuation. You will manage material unit costs in SAP, maintain cost and fixed asset accounts, and perform monthly variance analysis.

The role requires SAP expertise, a background in manufacturing, and a Bachelor in Public Accounting. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 3 years in manufacturing and automotive industry; general accounting, inventory, costs and fixed assets.
• Bachelor in Public Accounting.
• Experience with SharePoint and advanced Microsoft and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Determine and update material unit costs in SAP (cost accounting).
• Maintain SAP cost, inventory, metal and fixed asset accounts.
• Monthly inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• Review sales quotation costs.
• Control provisions for slow-moving inventory, freight and absorptions.
• Reconcile cost of sales versus accounting.
• Perform plant cost analysis.

The role:

As a Cost Accountant, you will help drive our goals by:
