Johnson Matthey Plc in Querétaro invites a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a world leader in sustainable metals. You will partner with the sales team in the American Region, driving financial insight, planning, and performance management across customer accounts.

The role emphasizes collaboration across finance, sales and operations, strong controls, and clear communication of financial concepts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex or global organisation.
• Strong financial analysis, modelling and commercial acumen.
• Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted business partner to the sales team in the American Region.
• Partner with sales to provide financial insight and support decision-making across customer accounts.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities for the commercial function.
• Analyse performance trends and translate data into actionable insights.
• Support development and evaluation of business cases, commercial proposals and pricing decisions.
• Drive collaboration between finance, sales and operations to align on performance.
• Embed strong financial controls and ensure compliance across commercial activities.

The role:

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will help drive our goals by:

• Act as the trusted business partner to the sales team in the American Region, developing a deep understanding of the business and sales operation.

• Partnering with sales teams toprovidefinancial insight,challengeand support decision-making across customer accounts

• Leading financial planning,budgetingand forecasting activities for the commercial function

• Analysingperformance trends and translating data into actionable insights to improve profitability and cash delivery

• Supporting the development and evaluation of business cases, commercialproposalsand pricing decisions

• Driving collaboration between finance,salesand operations to ensure alignment on performance and targets

• Embedding strong financial controls and ensuring compliance across commercial activities
