Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Apodaca, NL, Mexico, is seeking a CSSS Site Security Officer to safeguard the site, report to the Site Security Manager, and work with asset protection and local authorities.

Responsibilities include directing visitors, monitoring CCTV and fire systems, patrolling premises, documenting incidents, and acting as first responder in emergencies with First Aid/ CPR/ AED. Travel may be required; a strong leadership and communication background is desired.

Formación

• High school diploma or higher required.

What You’ll Do:

As a CSSS Site Security Officer, you’ll be part of our team located in Apodaca, NL, Mexico. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting the Site Security, reporting to the Site Security Manager and working closely with site leadership, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants as required. Schedule may be modified at times based on security coverage needs. Travel may be required, less than 10%.

Your Primary Focus Will Be:

• Security & Safety Services of the site
• C-TPAT Champion
• Manage the 3rd party vendor security services
• Direct visitors and control access at all Security Posts
• Monitor CCTV, security and fire suppression systems
• Patrol and secure areas inside and outside the facility
• Document security and safety related incidents
• Act as first responder to a crisis situation, providing First Aid / CPR / AED
• Implement physical security improvements
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

• High School Degree or higher
• 2+ years related security/law enforcement experience
• C-TPAT and/or Regulatory Compliance experience is a plus
• Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Physical fitness; proficiency in a martial art and/or other defensive skill desirable
• CPR / AED / First Aid Training
• Strong leadership skills, effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify and solve problems
• Successful completion of pre‑employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen required
• Must be able to pass any State‑required training or other qualifications for licensing
