Schneider Electric is seeking a Security Coordinator in Querétaro to protect people, assets, facilities, information, and operations. You will implement, administer, and oversee asset protection programs, risk management, regulatory compliance, and emergency response initiatives.

Responsibilities include serving as the site security lead, developing security strategies, ensuring regulatory adherence (CTPAT/AEO), conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with authorities and security

Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Site Security or Asset Protection.
  • Experience in investigations, security audits, compliance programs, and corrective action management.

Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a Security Coordinator in Querétaro that ensures the protection of people, assets, facilities, information, and business operations through the implementation, administration, and oversight of asset protection programs, regulatory compliance, risk management, and emergency response initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all site security matters.
  • Advise and support leaders, employees, and functional teams on security-related issues.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site security strategies, policies, procedures, and controls aligned with corporate and regional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security requirements, applicable regulations, and certifications such as CTPAT and AEO.
  • Conduct security risk, vulnerability, and threat assessments, developing and monitoring mitigation plans.
  • Lead or support investigations of security incidents, losses, unauthorized access, internal threats, and other events affecting the site.
  • Prepare executive reports, root cause analyses, corrective action plans, and security performance updates.
  • Ensure timely reporting, escalation, documentation, investigation, and closure of security incidents.
  • Coordinate and support emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills, evacuations, and participation in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs.
  • Manage relationships with local authorities, emergency services, security providers, and corporate security teams.
  • Supervise security personnel and contracted service providers.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen site security and asset protection.
Key Activities
  • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and assessments of facilities, offices, warehouses, and operational areas to verify compliance with security standards.
  • Manage physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and perimeter protection.
  • Maintain security procedures, records, controls, and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external security audits and track corrective actions through closure.
  • Monitor compliance with corporate security policies and certification requirements.
  • Analyze incidents, risks, audit findings, and security trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage security KPIs and provide regular performance reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities related to security, emergency response, and risk mitigation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Public Security, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Site Security, Asset Protection, Risk Management, or related areas.
  • Experience in investigations, security audits, compliance programs, and corrective action management.
