About the Role

Our client, a growing company in the distribution sector, is seeking a vigilant and organized Coordinador de Tráfico y Flota Vehicular to join their operations in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient management and deployment of our company's vehicle fleet, optimizing delivery schedules, and maintaining the safety and compliance of all vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fleet management principles, traffic regulations, and dispatch operations. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on involvement in the day-to-day coordination of our transportation assets. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily dispatch and scheduling of the company's vehicle fleet.
• Monitor vehicle movements, routes, and delivery progress to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate regular vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet information, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance history, and driver logs.
• Assist in the selection and onboarding of new drivers.
• Investigate and report on any traffic incidents or violations involving company vehicles.
• Optimize route planning to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing instructions, support, and feedback.
• Liaise with external service providers for vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics or transportation is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in traffic coordination, fleet management, or dispatch operations.
• Solid understanding of traffic regulations and road safety standards relevant to Chiapas .
• Experience with fleet management software or GPS tracking systems is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
