Michael Page is seeking a Site Controller for a large manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. You will lead the site finance function, partnering with site leadership to drive performance and ensure robust accounting, reporting, and controls.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash flow, audits, and building a high-performing finance team in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 15+ years in finance within high-volume manufacturing, automotive preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership of finance teams and strong business partnering with senior leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Plant Manager and leadership to drive performance and cost control.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Develop financial insights and recommendations for operational decisions.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and local regulations.
• Support capital investment projects and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the plant finance team.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Drive financial accountability and continuous improvement across the operation.

Job Description

The Site Controller will be responsible for the overall financial management of a large manufacturing facility, acting as a strategic partner to site leadership. This position oversees all plant finance functions, including general accounting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, tax, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to drive business performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Develop financial insights and recommendations to support operational decisions.
• Oversee cost accounting activities and ensure inventory valuation accuracy.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, SOX requirements, and local regulations.
• Support capital investment projects and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the plant finance team.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Drive financial accountability and continuous improvement across the operation.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in finance within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
