PepsiCo in Mexico City is seeking a Control & Reporting Analyst (Accountant) to provide operational and analytical support across finance processes, ensuring smooth month-end close and accurate reporting across Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Payroll Allocations, and General Ledger.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, proactive, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with knowledge of US GAAP and SOX, and a proven ability to collaborate with teams across countries to meet deadlines.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required.
  • Experience with US GAAP, control environment and SOX compliance.
  • 1-2 years of financial statement preparation and reporting in a large, multi-unit company.
  • Advanced MS Office skills and strong communication abilities.
  • ERP familiarity with SAP, HFM, FDM is desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform data validations, reconciliations, and checks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, uploads, schedules, and variance explanations.
  • Provide support with Intercompany processes: reviewing charges, reconciliations, and follow-ups with markets.
  • Support the preparation of reports, trackers, and analyses required by management.
  • Document processes and keep SOPs updated when temporary ownership of tasks is assigned.
  • Collaborate with teams across different countries to resolve open items and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist in onboarding and training of new team members when required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows.

The Opportunity

The Control & Reporting Analyst (Accountant) provides operational and analytical support across different finance processes, helping teams absorb workload peaks, cover temporary vacancies, and ensure continuity of month-end close and reporting activities. This role offers flexible support across areas such as Intercompany, Reporting, Fixed Assets, Payroll Allocations, and General Ledger, depending on business needs.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to quickly learn new processes. Strong coordination skills and the ability to work under pressure during close periods are essential.

Your Impact

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting (Required)
  • Experience in accouting US GAAP, control environment and sox compliance.
  • 1 -2 years of experience in financial statement preparation and reporting in a large company, multi-unit environment.
  • Micosoft Office (Advance)
  • English (Conversational)
  • COmmunication skills are needed as a individual will be required to interact with employees of all levels.
  • Advance knowledge of the principles process (Bank Statement, / AP / FA / AR /GL / Intercompanies / Financial Reporting) and business standards for integrated financial analysis.
  • Knowledge desirable in the following ERP's: SAP, HFM, FDM.
