Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Sustaining Test Engineer to support manufacturing operations on the shop floor. You will troubleshoot production test systems, vision systems, and programming equipment, driving rapid problem resolution and minimizing downtime in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics/Mechatronics/Electrical and 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, plus experience with test fixtures, data analysis, and escalation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume environments.
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical troubleshooting for production test-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures on test equipment and assemblies.
• Review, repair, and improve functional and in-circuit test fixtures.
• Collect failure logs and diagnostic data to identify root causes.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on test systems and vision systems; escalate major issues.
