Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Sustaining Test Engineer to ensure continuity of manufacturing by supporting production test systems, vision systems, and programming equipment on the shop floor. This role focuses on rapid problem resolution, debugging, and reducing downtime in high-volume production.

The candidate will diagnose hardware and software failures, review test fixtures, and collaborate with Contract Manufacturing teams to resolve escalated issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume environments.
• Intermediate English to read technical docs.
• Experience troubleshooting production/test issues.
• Familiarity with functional ICT/ICT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level troubleshooting for production test issues.
• Diagnose hardware/software failures on test equipment.
• Repair/modify test fixtures and improve equipment.
• Analyze failure logs and identify root causes.
• Support rapid resolution to minimize downtime with manufacturers.
