Eaton in Baja California, Mexico is seeking a Continuous Improvement professional to lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and drive digital reporting improvements across manufacturing. You will migrate reporting to Power BI, standardize dashboards, and support Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint usage with a strong CI focus.

The role emphasizes leading RIEs/Kaizen events, collaborating with process owners, and advancing a culture of continuous improvement using LEAN-Six Sigma principles.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bilingual English/ Spanish.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience with Power BI and Power Apps.
• Good knowledge in SharePoint and Power Automate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 quality registration schemes and certification processes (optional).

• Collaborate with process owners to create process management and measurement systems.
• Investigate and analyze production methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead Poka-yokes improvements and present them during quarterly Aerospace group competition.
• Participate in Quality/Finance/HR/Safety initiatives to enhance CI culture.
• Obtain LEAN tool certifications according to Eaton’s Aerospace Group roadmap.
• Be the champion of best practices exchange for digital solutions.

What You’ll Do

Primary Function

Is accountable for executing operational excellence and continuous improvement across a diverse manufacturing environment. Using Lean & Six Sigma, project management methodologies, ProLaunch principles to rigorously drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (Productivity) and Inventory. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for leading and supervising all Rapid Improvement Events (RIE’s) and Kaizen events throughout the facility and driving all CIT (continuous improvement teams) activity.

Essential Functions

• Migrate current reporting process of Excel, Power Point and Word to Power BI.
• Standardize and narrow current dashboards and power apps.
• Maintain and support current systems, Apps, or dashboards with high utilization culture in the organization.
• Utilize the Eaton Lean Six Sigma system to improve the facilities overall performance, deploying Continuous Improvement principles and processes.
• Develop and implement new or revised manufacturing methods in assigned area to reduce production costs, improve efficiency and eliminate waste.
• Lead, facilitate, and execute projects using Lean & Six Sigma principles and processes to deliver results.
• Collaborate with process owners in the use of lean and statistical tools, approaches, and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop an Continuous Improvement mindset at all levels.
• Investigate and analyze production methods, processes and operations to determine manufacturing modifications or machinery improvements through CAPEX process that will increase production efficiency, reduce costs and eliminate waste.
• Responsible to lead, facilitate and execute Poka-yokes improvements through their areas and present them during the quarterly Aerospace group competition.
• Participate on Quality/Finance/HR/Safety initiatives that will enhance the Continuous Improvement culture through the organization.
• Obtain LEAN tool certifications according to Eaton´s Aerospace Group roadmap
• Be the champion of best practices exchange activities for digital solutions.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bilingual English/ Spanish
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience working with Power BI and Power Apps.
• Good knowledge in SharePoint and Power Automate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of industry and customer specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (ISO9001, AS9100)

Preferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position)

• Project management skills
• Green belt
