The LEGO Group in Monterrey is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety on active construction sites, developing and enforcing local safety policies and ensuring compliance with LEGO standards and local regulations.

You will plan safety training, perform inspections and audits, investigate incidents, and work with contractors and project teams to drive a proactive safety culture and robust risk controls.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in construction safety within large-scale, high-risk projects.
• Experience with site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and related safety management systems.
• Ability to influence contractors and project teams to enforce safe practices.

The main area of focus covers production site expansion and major building modifications across several locations worldwide. Construction Safety Managers play a critical role in our construction projects. They are responsible for advising and guiding our project teams so they can deliver projects safely, in line with local safety regulations and LEGO standards.**Do You Have What It Takes?*** **Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Safety, Engineering, or a related field.*** **Strong proven experience in construction safety within large-scale, high-risk projects**, such as manufacturing plants, factories, commercial buildings, malls, or similar complex construction environments.* **Hands-on experience managing safety on active construction sites**, including working closely with contractors, subcontractors, project teams, and site personnel.* Strong knowledge of construction health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.* Proven experience identifying construction hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.* Experience conducting site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and maintaining accurate safety records and reporting.* Knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and related safety management systems.* Ability to effectively advise, challenge, and influence contractors and project teams to ensure safe working practices and compliance with safety requirements.* Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with safety management software is a plus.* Experience working in, or with, international or multinational companies.* Advanced oral and written English proficiency.* Excellent English communication and advisory skillsApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
