MAHLE in Monterrey seeks a Commodity Buyer to define and execute a purchasing strategy for the assigned commodity, ensuring best pricing, quality and delivery performance through long-term supplier relationships.

The role involves addressing supplier gaps, coordinating supplier changes, supporting strategy development, driving cost reduction and PPV, with up to 25% travel, and maintaining up-to-date data in JIRA and Jaggaer/SAP systems.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant purchasing experience in automotive or equivalent industry.
• Focus on deadlines and target objectives.
• Strong team player with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (stamping, machining, forging).

Responsabilidades

• Address supplier gaps affecting future development products.
• Manage and coordinate supplier changes for strategic sourcing or distressed suppliers.
• Support commodity strategy formulation and execution.
• Responsible for cost reduction initiatives and PPV reporting.
• Position includes up to 25% domestic and international travel.
• Maintain updated information in JIRA and Jaggaer / SAP systems.
• Other duties may be required.

Your Contribution

The Commodity Buyer will play an important role in define and execute a purchasing strategy for the commodity he/she is responsible. Ensuring best pricing, quality and delivery performance on a supplier with a long-term business relationship.

• Address supplier gaps that affect future development products.
• Manage and coordinate supplier changes for strategic sourcing or distressed suppliers.
• Supporting Commodity Buyers with development of commodity strategy formulation and execution.
• Responsible for cost reduction initiatives and support of PPV report.
• Position includes up to 25% domestic and international travel.
• Have at all times updated and accurate information in JIRA and Jaggaer / SAP systems.
• Other duties and responsabilities may be required.
