ALTEN Mexico is seeking an experienced automotive engineer to design and develop HVAC and interior instrument panels, defining requirements and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes CAD-driven concept development, tolerance analysis, and sustained problem solving across production stages.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in vehicle engineering, strong CATIA/3D Experience skills, and a good command of English (C1).

Formación

• More than 5 years of automotive/commercial vehicle engineering experience in HVAC and interior instrument panel.
• Experience in systems and Cross-Car Beam (CCB) architectures.
• At least 3 years CAD experience with CATIA 3Dx, 3D Experience or V5.
• GD&T and tolerance analysis proficiency.
• DFMA and serviceability principles knowledge.
• English level C1/Advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Define component and system engineering requirements.
• Create and develop engineering designs and concepts.
• Perform packaging, tolerance, and feasibility studies.
• Develop CAD models, drawings, and engineering releases.
• Support CAE, prototype builds, testing, Sourcing and validation activities.
• Resolve design, manufacturing, quality, and launch issues.
• Collaborate with Internal cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage engineering changes and documentation.
• Proven background in concept-to-production vehicle development and problem-solving
