Cummins Inc. is seeking a Tool Room Technician to support and maintain equipment used in tool making. You will read part drawings and operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses and shapers with guidance.

You will follow safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, documenting results, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring high quality workmanship and

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• May require export controls licensing compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Health, Safety & Environmental stop work and report hazards.
• Report injuries or hazards and comply with HSE standards.
• Operate and maintain tool room equipment including CNC machines, lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses and shapers.
• Use measuring devices and set up machines for fabricating details.
• Perform preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Document and communicate maintenance and quality issues.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement activities.
