Cummins Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Tool Room/Maintenance technician to service, support, and maintain equipment required by a tool maker.

The role involves manufacturing components with machine tool equipment and reading part drawings with limited guidance, while adhering to safety protocols for electricity and other energy sources. You will read diagrams and specifications, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and participate in TPM teams to improve quality, safety, and process flows

Formación

• Reads and interprets part drawings with limited guidance.
• Performs preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area and follows safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and report hazards.
• Perform and document maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Operate tool room equipment including CNC machines, lathes, grinders, milling machines, drills.
• Use measuring devices and verify dimensions per diagrams and specs.
• Support uptime and downtime analysis and continuous improvement.
