Job summary

ESAB AB in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico is seeking a leader to direct the technical activities of one or more engineering functions, including hardware design, software systems, and integrated hardware/software projects.

You will supervise subordinates, work with established guidelines and policies, and drive quality, reliability, and performance across engineering disciplines.

Job Description:
Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of one or more engineering functions. This may include, Hardware development function for electronic design, mechanical design and/or hardware reliability. Software development function for software systems, applications and/or software quality assurance. Integrated hardware/software systems design function. Other functional areas may include, electronics, electrical, industrial, process, quality and environmental. Receives assignments in the form objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures and policies. Supervises Support track employees and may occasionally perform similar work as their subordinates.
