Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Mexico City seeks an apprentice machinist within a formal skilled trades training program. You will learn tool room skills under direct guidance, complete mandatory classes, and document on-the-job training hours.

You will learn to work safely with electricity and energy sources, participate in TPM-driven improvements, and support quality and maintenance activities as you develop core machining competencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; readiness for ongoing training in a skilled trades program.
• Willingness to learn tool room skills and work with electrical/energy powered equipment.
• Apprentice will complete required hours and document classes and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Machinist skilled trades in learning tool room skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Participate in required training and on-the-job hours under guidance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support preventive maintenance and quality procedures during learning.
