Teradata is seeking a Cloud Engineer – UpaaS to manage upgrades and change activities across Vantage Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will ensure high availability, follow runbooks, and operate within maintenance windows while coordinating with global teams.

The role requires 2+ years in cloud operations, hands-on cloud platform experience, and ITIL/change management familiarity. Shift-based duties and on-call coverage may apply.

Formación

• 2+ years of cloud operations, system administration, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience executing changes in production environments with maintenance windows and approval workflows.
• Familiarity with system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows aligned to global customer time zones.
• Execute upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities following approved runbooks.
• Perform pre-checks, execution, and post-validation for cloud upgrades.
• Support high availability by minimizing disruption during maintenance windows.
• Adhere to change management processes and obtain approvals.
• Troubleshoot issues during upgrades and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Execute rollback procedures and stabilization tasks to maintain system integrity.
