Job summary

Intel in Mexico (Guadalajara) seeks a Cloud Software Development Engineer with uArch expertise to develop fleet health software and ecosystem. You will build, validate, and debug cloud-scale telemetry, diagnostics, and fleet screening software used by Intel and hyperscale customers to improve Xeon platform quality and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Python development and debugging.
• Linux software development experience.
• Multithreaded software development and debugging.
• Experience with server/cloud/distributed systems.
• Intel x86 architecture systems experience.
• Agile methodologies and testing practices.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain screening software for fleet health and platform quality.
• Design telemetry collection, diagnostics, observability, and health monitoring tools.
• Build scalable software for fleet operations, validation, and deployment readiness.
• Extend software frameworks to improve visibility into platform state and Intel Architecture internals.
• Analyze large-scale telemetry to identify defect signatures and reliability trends.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
• Develop automation to improve fleet monitoring and defect screening.
• Perform root-cause investigations for validation and customer environments.
• Integrate software libraries and infrastructure into existing tools.
• Develop Python/C++ software supporting diagnostics and fleet workflows.
• Support customer engagements during validation and deployment.
