Job Description:

This position requires candidates to upload a resume in English; you are welcome to upload multiple versions of your resume if you prefer but an English version of your resume will be required to be considered for this position.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working hands-on with both internal and external teams to deliver impactful Fleet and Scale software solutions that are critical to Data Center customers. You will be part of a team responsible for developing Customer Fleet and Scale capabilities that enable high-quality Intel server product launches and improve in-fleet customer experience. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.

As a Cloud Software Development Engineer with uArch expertise, you will play a key role in developing customer fleet health software capabilities and ecosystem. The position focuses on the development, validation, maintenance, and debugging of cloud-scale platform monitoring, telemetry, diagnostics, and fleet screening software used by Intel and hyperscale cloud customers to improve Xeon platform quality, reliability, and deployment readiness. You will work closely with architecture, platform validation, manufacturing, and customer engineering teams throughout the server product lifecycle. The role involves developing customer-consumable software that provides visibility into system state, platform telemetry, hardware health indicators, and Intel Architecture internals to help customers solve in-field and at-scale operational challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain screening software capabilities supporting customer fleet health and platform quality initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and optimize telemetry collection, diagnostics, observability, and health monitoring software.
  • Develop scalable software solutions supporting customer fleet operations, quality screening, validation, and deployment readiness.
  • Extend existing software frameworks and tools to improve visibility into platform state and Intel Architecture internals.
  • Analyze large-scale telemetry and debug data to identify defect signatures, reliability trends, and opportunities for quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing engineering teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve platform, firmware, and software issues.
  • Develop automation solutions that improve fleet monitoring, defect screening, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform root-cause investigations and support development of screening methodologies across validation and customer environments.
  • Integrate software libraries, services, and infrastructure components into existing software programs and tools.
  • Develop and maintain software primarily in Python and C/C++ supporting diagnostics, telemetry, and customer fleet workflows.
  • Support customer engagements throughout validation, deployment, and in-fleet operations.
  • Collaborate across architecture, platform, validation, manufacturing, and customer enablement teams to drive continuous quality improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • The successful candidate should bring a combination of:
  • Software engineering expertise in Python and C/C++.
  • Deep understanding of server platform architecture and Intel Architecture fundamentals.
  • Experience developing cloud-scale software, telemetry, diagnostics, and observability solutions.
  • Hardware/software debug, validation, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of processor microarchitecture and platform telemetry concepts.
  • Customer-focused engineering mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Operate across architecture, platform, validation, manufacturing, and customer enablement organizations.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Data Center and Xeon server deployments.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in highly dynamic technical environments.
  • Passion for developing software solutions that improve customer fleet quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.

This position is a fixed-term opportunity lasting approximately 24 months
