RED Global seeks an AI/Automation Engineer to design and develop agentic AI systems that reason, retrieve information, and interact with tools to automate workflows in cloud environments.

Based in Mexico City with hybrid work (2 days onsite), the role focuses on building scalable AI agents, integrating APIs, and enabling autonomous workflows. 3–5+ years Python experience and strong English communication are required.

Formación

• 3-5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Full SDLC experience from design to deployment.
• Experience with building REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience building LLM-based applications and agent workflows.
• Prompt engineering and tool integration experience.
• Experience with RAG, context management and vector databases.
• Proficient with Git in a professional setting.
• English language skills, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement agentic AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks across complex environments.
• Develop AI agents that can interact with tools, APIs, monitoring systems, and knowledge bases.
• Build retrieval mechanisms for context and knowledge to support decision-making.
• Enable autonomous or semi-autonomous workflows with AI agents assisting humans.
• Develop scalable backend services and interfaces for enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Deploy and operate agent-based solutions in cloud-native environments with reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with domain experts to translate processes into AI-driven workflows.
• Continuously improve agent performance through evaluation, prompts, and tool integration.
