Job summary

ICON Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Data Science Programmer to join our global team from home in Mexico. You will develop and implement programming solutions to enhance the analysis of clinical trial data and support data science deliverables end-to-end.

In this role you will collaborate with site staff, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain build documentation, and contribute to process improvements that add value for the business and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, life sciences, or related field.
• Experience in programming; clinical research environment a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience with ClinSpark, Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical or similar.

As a Clinical Data Science Programmer at ICON, you will develop and implement programming solutions that enhance the analysis of clinical trial data.

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for clinical data science deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing the eSource database for a clinical trial using ClinSpark.
• Collaborating with site staff to understand requirements and database build needs.
• Ensuring compliance with the protocol, written requirements, and regulatory guidelines in the eSource build.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for database build.
• Participating in process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes and adding value to the business and client needs.

Your Profile:

• You will bring relevant clinical data science experience, along with the following qualifications and skills. Required qualifications and experience:
• Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, life sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in programming. Previous or current clinical research environment experience is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience with proficiency in programming in ClinSpark, Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical, or similar with an understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality programming outputs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High proficiency with English language domine is a must.
