Description

As a Senior Cementing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing cementing operations based on customer requirements and operational conditions. You will develop job designs, perform engineering calculations and simulations, coordinate laboratory testing, conduct risk assessments, and provide technical support at the well site. You will collaborate with customers, drilling and production engineers, and field teams to develop technically sound and commercially competitive cementing solutions. You will also analyze job performance, lead continuous improvement initiatives, support technical investigations, contribute to Performance Optimization Plans (POP), and assist with resource, material, and equipment planning. The role also involves supporting tender preparation, forecasting chemical and casing equipment requirements, improving the utilization of materials, equipment, and personnel, and sharing technical knowledge through case histories, technical presentations, and industry papers. As an experienced member of the Cementing Team, you will mentor junior team members and support their technical development while ensuring alignment with the Halliburton Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• At least 7 years of proven experience as a Cementing Operations Engineer, supported by verifiable field records and previous assignment to service contracts.
• Advanced knowledge of cementing operations, additives used in cementing operations, and cementing software.
• Availability to work both offshore and onshore, based on operational requirements.
• Intermediate-Advanced english proficiency.
• Must reside in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Willingness and availability to work offshore is required.
