Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Cementing Operations Engineer to design and deliver cementing job solutions guided by engineering knowledge, field experience and customer collaboration. You will perform simulations, coordinate testing, assess risks and ensure compliance throughout the well lifecycle, from planning to post-job analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Cementing Operations Engineer.
• Availability to work offshore and onshore.
• Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency.
• Must reside in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Willingness and availability to work offshore is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cementing job designs and run simulations.
• Coordinate laboratory testing and assess operational risks.
• Ensure solutions meet technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Work with customers and operations teams through the job lifecycle, including planning, site support, and post-job analysis.

As a Cementing professional, you will play a key role in designing and delivering technical solutions that help customers achieve their operational objectives. You will combine engineering knowledge, field experience, and customer collaboration to develop cementing job designs, perform simulations and calculations, coordinate laboratory testing, assess operational risks, and ensure each solution meets technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements. You will work closely with customers and operational teams throughout the job lifecycle, from planning and resource coordination to well-site technical support and post-job analysis. You will use job results and lessons learned to recommend improvements, support the implementation of new technologies, and continuously enhance future cementing operations. You will also have opportunities to share technical knowledge, develop customer relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to technical case studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Cementing Operations Engineer, supported by verifiable field records and previous assignment to service contracts.
• Availability to work both offshore and onshore, based on operational requirements.
• Intermediate-Advanced english proficiency.
• Must reside in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Willingness and availability to work offshore is required.
