Job summary

DiDi in Mexico is seeking a Strategy BP intern to translate national priorities into local actions. You’ll work with City Managers and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, track performance, and support data-driven decisions across our key regions.

You’ll analyze datasets with SQL, Python, or Excel, build dashboards, and present actionable insights to stakeholders. Fluent English and Spanish are valued as you collaborate citywide.

Qualifications

• Must have SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R) for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strong Excel/Sheets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and December 2028.
• Previous internship or academic project experience in analytics, strategy, or consulting is a plus.

About The Team/role

Help us shape the future of food delivery in Mexico — one city at a time. As part of the Strategy BP team, you’ll be responsible for translating national priorities into actionable, high-impact strategies at the local level. You’ll work closely with City Managers and cross-functional teams to identify the biggest growth opportunities, focus execution, and drive real results across our most important regions

In this role, you’ll be...

• Serving as a key source of data-driven insights, supporting the Strategy BP team in identifying and unlocking city-level growth opportunities.
• Analyzing complex datasets using SQL, Python, or Excel to uncover trends, track performance, and guide strategic decision-making.
• Monitoring and reporting on core business metrics, ensuring visibility and alignment with national goals.
• Supporting the prioritization of initiatives by translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams — including Commercial, Ops and Product — to drive local impact through 360° solutions.
• Leading or supporting high-impact projects from analysis to execution, with measurable results.
• Building dashboards and tools that improve data accessibility and operational decision-making.
• Developing and presenting compelling materials that make data simple and strategic for stakeholders at all levels.
