Eaton Reynosa Plant is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Leader to coordinate and drive continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. You will lead Pro-Launch activities, implement the Eaton Lean System, and mentor teams in lean tools to reduce waste and boost productivity.

The role requires 5–8 years in CI within manufacturing, with hands-on knowledge of 5S, VSM, Kaizen, and data analysis. A Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree and bilingual English/Spanish are required; ERP/finance

Formación

• Bachelor level engineering degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial discipline.
• 5–8 years in continuous improvement within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, VSM, Kaizen, problem solving.
• Experience leading Kaizen projects and cost-out initiatives.
• Bilingual Spanish/English; familiarity with CI frameworks and EDS/OPA is a plus.

What you’ll do:

This position is responsible to coordinate and manage the Lean Manufacturing activities at Plant level, lead and support several significant manufacturing engineering activities focused on continuous improvement, lead a manufacturing planning activity through the product development/launch cycle (Pro-Launch), lead cross-functional teams in lean and process improvement initiatives, establish strategies to meet Corporative Lean and Six Sigma goals and programs, train, coach or mentor others in Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Implement ELSS, productivity and cost outs.

Job responsibilities

• Evaluate current state of Lean implementation against Eaton Lean System scoring criteria.
• Develop and implement a plan to advance lean implementation to meet Eaton Lean System Scoring expectations.
• Train, facilitate and apply the concepts of lean manufacturing in production and support areas.
• Train, facilitate and apply value stream mapping techniques across all product lines.
• Train, facilitate and apply kaizen events in all areas of the organization.
• Facilitate, coordinate and drive the 5s work culture throughout the organization.
• Develop manufacturing cell designs to facilitate one piece flow.
• Train, facilitate and apply kaizen events in all areas of the organization.
• Facilitate, coordinate and drive the 5s work culture throughout the organization.
• Train, facilitate and apply standardized work in key cell.
• Train, facilitate and apply set-up reduction techniques in bottleneck areas.
• Drive PM activities for critical equipment.
• Lead and promote the ideas program in production and support areas.
• Facilitate and coordinates cost out projects to meet profit plan expectation.
• Lead and facilitate Pro-Launch activities at plant level as required.
• Lead and coordinate Etaon Digitalization Strategy-Manufacturing 4.0.
• And other activities, which are assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education level required

• Bachelor of Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.

Years and area of experience required

• 5 to 8 years experience in Continous improvement
• Proven experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) and site improvement initiatives within manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen Events, and structured Problem Solving.Experience leading and executing Kaizen projects, cost reduction (Cost-Out) initiatives, and productivity improvement programs.
• Familiarity with Business Systems, CI Frameworks, EDS, OPA, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Proven ability to identify, develop, and implement sustainable process improvements and savings opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, performance tracking, and KPI management.
• Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities across multiple functions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead without direct authority and drive cross-functional alignment
• Solid understanding of shop floor operations and manufacturing processes.

Technical knowledge

• Basic understanding of Finance and Accounting.

• Fully bilingual (Spanish/English).
