Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a ServiceNow Platform Owner & Chief Architect to drive the technical strategy, architecture, and lifecycle of the enterprise ServiceNow platform. You will lead the engineering, administration, architecture, and development teams, setting standards and governance for ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, and SecOps.

You will partner with process owners to translate priorities into scalable, secure solutions, oversee integrations, and guide modernization while ensuring platform integrity

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow architectures and complex integration ecosystems.
• Experience leading platform transformation, modernization, and large-scale implementation initiatives.
• Strong governance, lifecycle management, and technical strategy skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise ServiceNow platform roadmap, technical strategy, and multi-year modernization plan.
• Serve as the chief architect for the ServiceNow ecosystem, establishing architectural standards and governance models.
• Lead AI, automation, Virtual Agent, and digital workflow capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Define platform standards for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Govern platform upgrades, releases, patching strategies, testing methodologies, and production readiness.
• Partner with process owners to deliver solutions that support functional outcomes without owning process execution.
