Job summary

Taleo is seeking a Change Management Specialist to drive master data governance and scheduling agreements across regions. You will lead changes in SAP Paragon, manage part number supersessions, and ensure data accuracy for reliable supply and system integrity.

Responsibilities include coordinating across Germany, USA, and Mexico, updating supplier/master data, and supporting Finance and IT topics related to changes. Travel is national within Mexico and occasionally abroad.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, industrial engineering or related technical area; Master degree preferred.
  • 4–6 years in supply chain, change management, master data, or procurement within automotive or similar environment.
  • Experience managing part number changes, scheduling agreements, and SAP-based systems (preferably SAP Paragon).
  • Strong knowledge of master data management and change processes; data accuracy and governance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance of master data and change management activities in SAP Paragon.
  • Manage Scheduling Agreements lifecycle for parts; ensure alignment with demand and correct system releases to suppliers.
  • Execute part number changes and supersessions; manage material transitions while avoiding disruptions.
  • Maintain and update material master data including depletion indicators and part number attributes.
  • Govern supplier and procurement data in SAP Paragon; oversee supplier codes, planner assignments, and buyer information.
  • Coordinate cross-regional change implementation across Germany, USA, and Mexico.
  • Support cross-functional topics (Finance & IT) related to system changes.
  • Drive communication and stakeholder alignment through emails, meetings, and follow-ups.

Description
Main Objectives:
  • Ensure Scheduling Agreement Integrity and Execution. Guarantee the correct creation, validation, and continuous alignment of Scheduling Agreements (SA) for TPOP parts, ensuring accurate system releases and supplier adherence to demand requirements.
  • Drive Master Data Accuracy and System Reliability. Maintain and continuously improve material master data, including part numbers, supersessions, and depletion indicators, ensuring high data accuracy as a foundation for operational stability and supply chain efficiency.
  • Lead Part Lifecycle and Change Management Processes. Manage end-to-end part number updates, supersessions, and regional transitions (e.g., GLC to NAFTA), ensuring smooth system integration and avoiding disruptions in supply or inventory inconsistencies.
  • Govern Supplier and Procurement Master Data Structure. Oversee the creation and maintenance of supplier codes, planner assignments, and buyer information within SAP Paragon, ensuring proper system governance and enabling efficient procurement execution.
  • Use Mercedes-Benz standard methods and systems to manage the supplier readiness information and use reporting tools to manage timely reports to higher management and Headquarters.
  • Enable Cross-Regional Coordination and Communication. Act as the central liaison across Germany, USA, and Mexico teams to align changes, synchronize system updates, and ensure consistent execution across all regions through structured communication and meetings.
  • Act as Key Interface for Cross-Functional Topics (Finance & IT). Support and coordinate change-related topics impacting Finance and IT systems, ensuring alignment between business requirements and system capabilities, while facilitating issue resolution and process improvements.
Main Tasks:
  1. Lead Master Data and Change Management Governance: Drive the overall governance of master data and change management activities in SAP Paragon, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and system integrity across all material and supplier data.
  2. Manage Scheduling Agreements Lifecycle (TPOP Parts): Ensure the creation, validation, and maintenance of Scheduling Agreements, confirming alignment with demand and guaranteeing correct system releases to suppliers.
  3. Execute Part Number Changes and Supersessions: Lead the implementation of part number updates, supersessions, and material transitions (e.g., GLC to NAFTA), ensuring seamless system updates and no supply disruptions.
  4. Maintain and Update Material Master Data: Ensure all material master data remains accurate and up to date, including depletion indicators, part number attributes, and system consistency to support operations.
  5. Govern Supplier and Procurement Data in System: Oversee the creation and update of supplier codes, planner assignments, and buyer information in SAP Paragon, ensuring correct system structure and procurement alignment.
  6. Coordinate Cross-Regional Change Implementation: Act as the central interface between Germany, USA, and Mexico teams, ensuring alignment, communication, and proper execution of change management activities across regions.
  7. Support Cross-functional Topics (Finance & IT): Serve as liaison for Finance and IT-related topics linked to system changes, supporting issue resolution and ensuring alignment between business and system requirements.
  8. Drive Communication and Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure continuous communication through emails, meetings, and follow-ups, aligning stakeholders and securing timely execution of all change management activities.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical area, Master Degree preferred.

Work Experience

Minimum of 4–6 years in supply chain, change management, master data, or procurement within the automotive industry or similar environment.

Experience managing part number changes, scheduling agreements, and SAP-based systems (preferably SAP Paragon).

Technical Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of master data management and change processes.
  • Experience with SAP systems (Paragon, ERP, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of scheduling agreements and supplier logistics processes.
  • Data accuracy, validation, and system governance practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
