Faurecia S.A. in Puebla seeks a skilled Logistics professional to manage transportation and inventory activities for FIS MX Plants. You will plan, schedule and monitor shipping, ensuring timely customer deliveries while adhering to budgets.

Responsibilities include resolving carrier issues, coordinating with finance and accounts payable, implementing new tools and processes, and driving cost reductions through efficient truck utilization and freight management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or Commerce.
• Experience in logistics (material planner, traffic scheduler, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and mathematical abilities.
• Proficient with materials scheduling, transport planning and inventory control.
• Knowledge of customs and trade compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure customer delivery in a timely manner.
• Support the resolution of claims with carriers, in relation with the plant, finance and accounts payable.
• Create transportation MIFD’s (External).
• Monitor the truck utilization per route vs target.
• Support the implementation of new tools, systems and processes.
• Identify truck utilization opportunities in the weekly/monthly plans and liaise with the material planners to improve it.
• Follow-up the execution of the Freight Orders.
• Manage the transportation alert system.
• Organize premium freight according the related procedure.
• Conduct the implementation of logistics basics: booking operations, traceability, labeling, container management, etc.
• Look for productivity gains and cost reductions.
• Monitor & report actual and forecasted cost performance vs Budget/Standard cost on a weekly basis.
• Any other job related task as assigned by Manager.
• Control the split of shared flows costs between the plants.
• Specific customer requirements.

PURPOSE

Manages logistics and inventory activities for FIS MX Plants. The Traffic scheduler analize and manages transportation work orders that are assigned and will ensure financial goals and budgets for transportation are met.

EDUCATION LEVEL

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration , Commerce.

LANGUAGES

English-advanced

EXPERIENCE

in logistics (material planner, traffic scheduler, etc)

Skilled problem solver / Mathematically adept

Computer literate and experienced in all facets of materials scheduling, transport scheduling , planning

and inventory control techniques.

Customs and commerce knowledge.

V. MAIN MISSIONS OF THE ROLE
