International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. is seeking a Category Management Specialist for Raw Materials & Packaging in a hybrid role in Mexico City.

You will drive strategic sourcing for direct materials and packaging, manage supplier strategies, lead negotiations, and improve supplier performance across global operations. The role requires a 3–5 year track record in procurement or strategic sourcing, a degree in a related field, and strong English plus ERP experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or related function.
• Advanced English proficiency for global collaboration.
• Experience leading supplier negotiations, contracts and sourcing projects.
• Knowledge of financial concepts, cost analysis, budgeting and cash flow impact.
• Experience working with ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing strategies for direct raw materials and packaging categories (e.g., extracts, enzymes, botanicals, corrugated packaging, medicine bottles, lids, caps).
• Develop and manage supplier strategies, supplier portfolios and sourcing initiatives.
• Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, contracts and supplier agreements.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for suppliers and align with business objectives.
• Manage sourcing events, tenders and bidding processes with supplier recommendations.
• Identify, qualify and onboard new suppliers with cross-functional partners.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective action & continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve supply challenges and ensure continuity.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence including pricing trends and risks.
