Novartis is seeking a Canada Payroll Lead to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll operations for Canada. You will serve as the payroll subject matter expert and partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, Treasury, IT, and external vendors to drive complex payroll activities and continuous improvement.

The role requires deep knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and year-end processing, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead payroll governance and audit-ready

• Deep knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, taxation, and year-end processing.
• Experience managing external payroll vendors and ensuring service delivery accountability.
• Strong communication and collaboration across HR, Finance, Benefits, and IT.
• Ability to independently manage complex payroll processes and escalations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end payroll operations for Canada, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Canadian payroll legislation and taxation.
• Handle complex payroll scenarios, including retroactive adjustments and off-cycle payments.
• Lead year-end payroll activities and coordinate with vendors (e.g., ADP).
• Maintain governance, controls, and audit-ready documentation.
