Job summary

Nasdaq is seeking a Back Office Consultant to join our Fintech team in Mexico City, focusing on Calypso implementation and optimization of client back-office operations. The role blends hands-on analysis with cross-functional collaboration, with a hybrid in-office schedule (3 days/week).

You’ll work with clients across geographies, ensuring compliant, scalable processes and strong post-trade support while developing expertise in Calypso and related financial tech tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in back office operations or consulting within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, including settlement, reconciliation, and post-trade processes.
• Experience implementing or working with financial software platforms (Calypso strongly preferred).
• Fluent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve clients’ back office processes, helping increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Support the implementation and configuration of Calypso, ensuring systems are integrated and working as intended.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to deliver training, support, and best practices for back office operations.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, including occasional on-site engagement, to address questions and resolve issues.
• Ensure back office activities align with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
