Schaeffler is seeking an IT Analyst – Engineering Simulation to ensure operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CAE applications such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, and COMSOL. You will support IT services, optimize workflows, and drive automation across global teams.

The role focuses on performance monitoring, license usage, and documentation, with opportunities to implement AI‑enabled solutions and improve engineering IT processes.

Formación

• Experience with mechanical/engineering simulation CAE applications (ANSYS, ABAQUS, COMSOL, FloEFD, HyperWorks).
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and application operations.
• Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in global and cross‑functional teams.
• Interest in and openness to working with AI‑supported tools and digital solutions.
• Proven high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and manage engineering simulation / CAE applications and related IT services.
• Coordinate software releases, updates, and maintenance activities.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for technical issues and incidents.
• Monitor application performance, usage, and availability.
• Support license compliance and usage monitoring.
• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, IT, product owners, and vendors.
• Support enhancements and business requirements and communicate changes to users.
