Ford-Motor-Company is seeking a CAE Engineer to lead structural simulations of underbody suspension architectures and steering components. You will translate physical phenomena into accurate CAE models using advanced FEA methods to optimize designs for robustness, manufacturability, and cost.

Responsibilities include system-level strength/fatigue assessments, DOE studies, scripting for automation, and collaboration with D&R to meet vehicle requirements.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace or related field.
• MS preferred in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5+ years in automotive product development, focusing on durability and structural analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Perform system-level strength and fatigue assessments for full-system suspension architectures.
• Analyze steering components and assemblies for structural integrity.
• Run large DOE CAE studies to optimize structure, mass, and cost.
• Automate pre/post-processing with Python or TCL scripts.
• Collaborate with Design & Release to ensure vehicle requirements compliance.
• Produce CAE status reports and leadership-ready presentations.
