Ford Motor Company is seeking a Suspension BTP D&R Engineer in Acapulco, Mexico, to own end-to-end design of suspension structural components. You will create 3D CAD models in CATIA from scratch, perform basic CAE, and release parts through GPDS, Teamcenter, and JIRA.

The role requires strong GD&T skills, experience with stampings, castings, and forgings, and collaboration with CAE, manufacturing plants, and suppliers. Proficiency in CATIA and knowledge of DFM/DFA are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong experience in 3D modeling of structural components using CATIA.
• Proficient in 2D drafting and GD&T with tooling knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and release suspension structural components (stampings, castings, forgings).
• Create 3D CATIA CAD models from scratch and manage assemblies/drawings.
• Perform basic desktop CAE analysis for design validation.
• Lead design reviews with manufacturing plants and tooling suppliers.
• Ensure DFM/DFA guidelines are incorporated into CAD models.
