Qualcomm is seeking a Support Engineer in Tijuana, Mexico, to assist engineering teams in using CAD tools and automation flows developed worldwide. You will create documentation, provide internal training, and help ensure the reliability of automation processes, collaborating with HW, SW, IT and EDA teams.

A Bachelor's or Master's in CS/EE, Linux proficiency, and programming experience (Python, Perl, TCL, GNU Make) are desired; knowledge of VLSI/EDA is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Familiar with Linux operating system.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, GNU Make.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge in VLSI design and EDA tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Apply engineering principles to develop and optimize CAD tools and flows to enhance productivity, efficiency, and results.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and tools.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on CAD automation tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in automation processes.
• Coordinate issues and initiatives with HW, SW, IT, and EDA engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Conduct self-guided research and participate in periodic training to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
