QUALCOMM SEMICONDUCTORES Y SISTEMAS AVANZADOS DE BAJA CALIFORNIA in Tijuana, México, seeks a Support Engineer to assist engineering teams in using CAD tools and automation flows. You will document processes, provide internal support, and help ensure reliability and efficiency of automation workflows.

Responsibilities include developing CAD tool improvements, maintaining documentation, and training teams on CAD automation while aligning with HW, SW, and IT colleagues.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Familiar with Linux operating system.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, and GNU Make.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Plus: Knowledge in VLSI design/verification and EDA tools.

Responsabilidades

• Apply engineering principles to develop and optimize CAD tools and flows.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and tools.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on CAD automation tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in automation processes.
• Coordinate issues with HW, SW, IT, and EDA eng teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct self-guided research and participate in training to stay updated with industry trends.
