QUALCOMM is seeking a support engineer in Tijuana, Mexico, to assist engineering teams in using CAD tools and flows. You will create documentation, provide internal support, and ensure automation processes are efficient and reliable.

This role emphasizes collaboration across HW, SW, IT, and EDA teams, with ongoing training and self-guided learning. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, strong Linux experience, and proficiency in Python, Perl, TCL, and GNU

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Familiar with Linux operating system.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, GNU Make.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Plus: Knowledge in VLSI design and verification and EDA tools.

Responsabilidades

• Apply engineering principles to develop and optimize CAD tools and flows to enhance productivity.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and tools.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on CAD automation tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in automation processes.
• Coordinate issues with HW, SW, IT, and EDA engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new methods into daily work.
• Propose and execute innovative solutions to complex problems.
