Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a BG ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT DESIGN PROFESSIONAL to contribute to automotive exterior and lighting design projects. The role focuses on CAD-driven design, plastic rules application, and leading 3D/2D CAD activities across internal teams and Tier 2 suppliers.

The candidate will ensure design compliance with customer requirements, support tool feasibility considerations, and coordinate with EPM and engineering teams to deliver parts and assemblies on schedule.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of plastic rules (Shrinkage analysis, Demoulding)
• Previous Experience: CAD Engineer, Mould engineer, Plastic Parts design
• Basic mechanical rules, able to build and check product under CAD software system; able to lead CAD 3D and 2D activities

Responsibilities

• Ensures product design and architecture to meet customer quality requirements and manufacturing constraints.
• Manages functionally the CAD resources to fulfill the design.
• Ensures PODS & Technical Solutions are implemented.
• Liaises with toolmaker to optimize design and supports design reviews.
• Coordinates CAD data exchanges with customers and suppliers.
