OPmobility, a leader in sustainable mobility, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to deliver robust products on time and within cost targets. You will provide technical support in a mechanical development setting and help shape innovative concepts aligned with customer and legal requirements.

Responsibilities include applying CAD standards, contributing to DFMEA, DV/PV activities, PPAP delivery, and supporting audits. English proficiency and MS Office/CAD skills are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the position.
• Intermediate English; MS Office and CAD proficiency.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical support within the mechanical construction during product development.
• Develops concepts for innovative products considering feasibility and cost, lifespan, customer and legal requirements.
• Applies the best design and process practices (DGL, Rules), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and customer requirements.
• Provides suggestions for creating and updating DFMEA.
• Cooperates on creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component test and certification in line with CDP/VPDS/VBOS and customer specs as well as legal requirements.
• Actively supports DV/PV and timely delivery of PPAP.
• Participates in customer & quality audits for given products / projects if required.
• Scouts for innovation opportunities, cost optimizations and participates in DCRM sessions.
• Provides technical support to new business development (i.e. VQF, BOM, presentation, feasibility)
• Prepares and shares project Lessons Learned
• Performs assignments related to particular development (CDP/PDS) projects.

Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer is responsible for fulfillment of project objectives: delivery of robust, proven and reliable product in required time, quality and costs.

Responsabilities

• Provides technical support within the mechanical construction during product development leading to successful introduction into production
• Develops concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan, customer and legal requirement
• Applies the best design and process practices (DGL, Rules), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and specific customer requirements
• Provides suggestions for creating and updating DFMEA
• Cooperates at creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component test and certification in compliance with the CDP/VPDS/VBOS, and customer specifications as well as legal requirements.
• Actively works within the team to support successful DV / PV and delivery of PPAP on time.
• Participate on TDR organized by other teams to provide feedbac
• Participates in customer & quality audits for given products / projects if required.
• Scouts for innovation opportunities, cost optimizations and actively participates in DCRM sessions and participates in their implementation in the project
• Provides technical support to new business development (i.e. VQF, BOM, presentation, feasibility)
