Molex in El Salto, Jalisco seeks an experienced Materials Manager to drive production planning and purchasing, coaching teams, and ensuring on-time material arrival. You will lead strategic sourcing, maintain ERP alignment, and partner with stakeholders to reduce inventory and improve processes.

The role requires 7+ years in planning/purchasing with 5+ years in people management, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and fluency in English.

Formación

• 7+ years experience in supply chain and planning/purchasing roles.
• 5+ years managing people.
• Experience in demand management and planning/purchasing with team leadership.
• Proven ability to apply problem-solving and CI methods (Kaizen, 5 Whys, PDCA).
• Strong ERP knowledge; SAP is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the production planning and purchasing team with coaching and standardized processes.
• Provide visibility and demand projections to support operations and customer requirements.
• Drive sourcing and purchasing strategies in coordination with Purchasing Supervisor/Manager.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify and implement material improvements.
• Balance workload across multiple customer/product lines and justify resourcing needs.
• Develop tools and share knowledge to improve planning and purchasing efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point for internal/external stakeholders and support audits.
