nVent is seeking a procurement professional in Reynosa to manage direct raw materials, purchase orders, and supplier performance. You will use ERP/MRP data to forecast material needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, on-time delivery, and process improvements while aligning replenishment strategies with strategic sourcing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related field.
• Full professional proficiency in English (C1).
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review demand signals and place purchase orders for direct raw material components.
• Monitor open PO dates and vendor on-time delivery; drive supplier development.
• Maintain data integrity in key fields related to demand signaling.
• Use data analytics to identify risks and propose solutions with Suppliers and Sourcing.
• Communicate material availability to Production Planning and other teams.
• Analyze inventory levels and optimal stock positions for raw materials.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to align replenishment strategies.
• Lead process improvements in raw material procurement.
• Coordinate with centralized purchasing on capacity-constrained materials.
• Support new product introductions with procurement input.
• Assist quality and trade compliance processes.
• Coordinate returns for defective/non-conforming material.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:

• Actively review demand signals to place purchase orders to fulfill direct raw material component requirements.
• Manage dates on open purchase orders and supervise performance of vendors’ on time delivery and drive vendor development activities.
• Maintain data integrity of the key systematic fields related to demand signaling to ensure accurate purchase order placement.
• Proactively use data to work with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing Team to identify potential risks to supply and implement solutions.
• Provide detailed information on expected availability of materials cross-functionally with Production Planning, Operations, and other teams.
• Leverage analytics to understand inventory levels and optimal stock positions of raw material components.
• Develop commodity market awareness and comprehension of supply base.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing Team to align on replenishment strategies and to review where improvement opportunities exist.
• Lead process improvement efforts related to raw material component procurement.
• Collaborate closely with centralized purchasing teams on capacity-constrained materials.
• Work closely with new product development on the introduction of new products.
• Support quality and trade compliance processes.
• Collaborate with Production and Receiving teams to coordinate return material authorization efforts for defective or non-conforming material.
• Interact with suppliers on a regular basis and participate in monthly or quarterly business reviews.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, engineering, supply or related field.
• Full professional proficiency C1 in English is required for this position, as it involves frequent communication with international suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• 3 + years of experience in supply chain management / procurement or related field highly preferred.
• Experience working within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with different cross-functional teams.
• Robust interpersonal abilities including time management, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Capacity to leverage data and analytics to advise decision making or forecasting future requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
