Regal Rexnord in the Monterrey area is seeking a Buyer to manage the purchasing process for materials, components, services and supplies, ensuring availability, cost competitiveness, quality, and on-time delivery. The role is fully onsite at the designated Regal Rexnord office.

You will maintain supply continuity, support cost reduction, monitor supplier performance, optimize inventory and align with Plant 1 business needs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, or Supplier Management.
• ERP/MRP systems experience; SAP expertise.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and English communication with suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee purchasing management and execution for assigned materials and components.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) to match production needs.
• Review requirements and delivery dates; ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor open POs and supplier delivery commitments.
• Support cost reduction and supplier performance initiatives.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and global teams for supply continuity.

Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Purpose

Manage the purchasing process for materials, components, services, and supplies required by the operation, ensuring availability, competitive cost, quality, and on-time delivery through effective supplier management and negotiation.

The Buyer will be responsible for maintaining supply continuity and supporting cost reduction, supplier performance, inventory optimization, and customer service objectives, aligned with Plant 1 business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchasing Management
• Execute the purchasing process for assigned materials, components.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs)
• Review requirements and delivery dates based on production needs.
• Ensure timely material availability to prevent operational disruptions.
• Monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments.

Required Profile

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, preferably:
• Industrial Engineering
• Business Administration
• International Trade
• Supply Chain Management
• International Business

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience** in:
• Purchasing / Procurement
• Supply Chain
• Materials Planning
• Supplier Management

Previous Experience In a Manufacturing Environment Is Preferred

Technical Knowledge
