Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Mexico seeks a Senior Buyer to coordinate purchasing activities and ensure timely material availability for production. The role requires a Bachelor’s in international business and 5+ years’ experience with strong negotiation and leadership skills.

The candidate will work with MRP/Oracle systems, manage RFQs, monitor supplier delivery, and resolve AP/AR issues through detailed analysis. Opportunities exist to optimize procurement processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

 Buyer 3 Education: Bachelor's degree in international business or related, minimum required English 80% Knowledge in: MRP, ORACLE, NEGOTIATION, RESULTS ANALYSIS (P & L) Minimum experience of 5 years Working independently, coordinates purchasing activities and processes purchase reqs in a timely manner. Using MRP and / or manual reqs, requires RFQ's for pricing and availability. Monitors supplier delivery. Negotiates price / volume / delivery dates. RMA's processes. Expedites and reschedules as necessary to meet production requirements. Responsible for resolving AP / AR issues through analysis and investigation. May research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long lead time parts. Senior Buyers may manage implementation of engineering changes, interpretation of procurement policies, process improvement projects, contract negotiation and approval of PPV's. Qualities: Teamwork, Leadership, negotiation, ease of speaking.
