Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division seeks a Buyer to strengthen the purchasing function and drive cost-out initiatives. You will maintain SAP records, issue POs per schedule, and coordinate with internal customers to ensure timely material arrival.

Key tasks include supplier negotiation, handling past-due orders, and ensuring adherence to EHS policies while contributing to division profitability.

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in English (80%+) and MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and prioritization skills.

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Buyer.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do

Primary Function:

• To contribute to the profit of the division using the methods, more effective systems and procedures in the Purchasing department.

Essential Functions

• Identify cost out opportunities
• Reviews invoices on hold and place corrective actions to avoid recurrence
• Maintain and correct the purchasing info record, item master and lead times in SAP
• Place purchase orders based on standard work schedule as per SAP suggestion.
• Maintain communication and updates with internal customers, related to material arrival.
• Maintain raw material inventory levels in accordance to the objectives set every month
• Burn down any past due PO from suppliers and provide accurate dates in SAP
• Follow up standard work on a daily basis
• Have direct communication with suppliers regarding material usage and forecast
• Give disposition to rejected material and create corrective action plans
• Reduce any PPV and provide detail explanation if generated.
• Provide necessary support EHS policies are respected in all of its contents.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred education level

• Bachelor Degree

Years and area of experience required

• Minimum of 2 year experience in similar position.

Technical knowledge

• 80% minimum of English domain MS Office Excel, Word, SAP
• Negotiation skills, set own priorities based on daily activities
• Invoices on hold, AMR execution trend, past due requisitions, past due purchase orders,Inventory on raw material, supplier performance (OTD), material shortages, cost savings, PPV, Premium freight, not confirmed Pos
