Watlow Mexico is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage internal purchasing requests, generate external requests, and track deliveries across our El Marqués, Querétaro plants. You will evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate with suppliers, and contribute to lean continuous improvement through Kaizen events.

Responsibilities include planning material flow, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and supplier performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (+2 years) preferred.
• Leadership training or related management development is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate physical movement of materials, parts, finished goods, and information to optimize cost and service levels.
• Manage incoming internal purchasing requests, generate external purchasing requests, and track delivery of goods and services.
• Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
• Develop and manage supplier base through supplier selection, corrective actions, audits and feedback systems.
• Negotiate and settle with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, returns, and engineering changes.
• Negotiate requirements for pre-production samples.
• Review and follow-up on late supplier shipments.
• Deliver continuous improvement through Lean Kaizen events.
