Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Business System Practitioner to evaluate performance and drive improvement across manufacturing and customer operations.

You will partner with stakeholders to design practical plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely execution of actions that lift productivity and quality. You will apply Johnson Controls Continuous Improvement and Production system practices, use JCBS tools, and help sustain gains through data-driven problem solving and collaborative

Formación

  • University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6 years of suggested minimum experience in continuous improvement, business systems, manufacturing operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating performance, identifying gaps, and building improvement plans in a manufacturing or customer operations environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and observations into practical actions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Clear communication, facilitation, and follow-up skills with a focus on timely execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and sustain momentum on improvement work.

Responsabilidades

  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizens, and other improvement activities that accelerate problem solving and implementation.
  • Document progress, lessons learned, and results so improvements can be shared and repeated across the organization.

Role Overview

The Business System Practitioner evaluates current business performance, identifies gaps in critical areas, and supports the development and execution of improvement plans. You will work across functions to strengthen operating performance, monitor progress, and help ensure actions are implemented on time and deliver the intended results.

What will you do?

  • You will stay close to the work, understand what is happening on the floor or with the customer, and remove barriers that slow progress.
  • You will use data, root-cause thinking, and practical problem solving to improve performance every day.
  • You will work as one team, building trust across functions and encouraging diverse perspectives to reach better solutions.
  • You will use Johnson Controls Continuous Improvement and Production system practices, including JCBS tools such as Kaizens, Just Do It improvements, and workshop-based problem solving, where applicable.
  • You will monitor actions consistently, communicate clearly, and adjust plans quickly when results show a different approach is needed.
What are we looking for?
