Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in the Monterrey area to join our manufacturing team. You will apply lean methods to design and optimize production lines, balance workloads, and calculate capacities to improve efficiency.
You will lead projects, manage change, and mentor technicians while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new product introductions and ongoing process improvements in a safety-focused environment.

Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, and application of rules. Lead by example.
Manufacturing cell design.
Calculate and control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes.
Verify Time standards and calculation of earn hours per family products.
Facilitating A3 problem solving
Designing future state value streams
Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, DFAM etc.)
Contribute to the advancement of the organization in the JCMS
Supports sharing of best practices as result of internal and external benchmarking activities
Evaluation and modification of lay outs of production lines and production cells.
Lead and update (if apply) databases that demonstrate the optimal routes of the product, production times, assignment of main and alternate machines, define the headcount of operators needed to perform the different parts.
Work with multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing.
Reduce high-risk priority numbers in manufacturing PFMEA’s.
Drive process related activities for New Product Introduction, from early planning stages on into full production.
Coach, mentor, and train Manufacturing Technicians within the Manufacturing team
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Industrial, Mechatronic, Mechanic Engineering Degree.
+4 years of experience, in Assembly processand paint process
Spoken and written English. Able to carry on a conversation without difficulty.
Strong knowledge on elements of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout.
Project management experience.
Proven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programs
Strong communication skills
Plans and prioritizes work effectively, adapting for changing conditions.
Original thinking and an ability to identify problems and generate creative solutions.
